Re: Fender Classic Player Jaguar HH Review

Sounds like you need a Radian Sooty. Do they do one with Fender on the headstock? No even better it has customer support and you pay for what you get, instead of what you should have got. :[ Too much scrutiny? edit: you're not wrong though those are sweet gats, just don't think brand should ever RE...

Re: Technical Tips/Lessons

Hi. Two main things in this thread : knowing what you want to say / being able to say it. Re: New SG won't/can't stay in tune

Bad restring can be a big deal tuning wise. Just did my strat and got the low e wrong (stacked the winds on top of each other kinda sorta) and it goes out if struck too hard. Dropped down more than a tone ... I'm not really sure that's meant to be possible but whatever I'm just gonna blame the strin...

It's not as common as other arrangements where each pickup has a pocket of its own I think.

NICE.

Particularly digging Lawrence's contribution also!

Good guitarist to me is someone who uses guitar to express themself in a positive way (whatever that means).

1934 Gibson is still valuable nonetheless - Ash can probably give you the best ball park figure or maybe k1wi.

Re: straplocks

If you don't mind attaching a strap permanently you can just unscrew the strap buttons, place strap > place washer > screw button back in. You obviously need a washer for this but that's gonna be cheaper than replacing the buttons / buying new locks.

Rose > maple

First one sounds grittier and the second one sounds smoother / cleaner but also a little duller so wouldn't bet my kidneys on it.
