No idea. To be safe I put cotton socks over my guitar stand bits that came in contact with the guitar. Doesn't help you any to know that though.

A&L's are great value for the money and they sound like a far more expensive guitar. My little A&L parlour solid top was one of the nicest sounding parlours I ever owned and by far the best in its price bracket. I only sold it because I had my Larrivee and didn't need two.
