Re: Angled or flat?

I don't know much about Floyd Rose trems beyond the basics, so if this is a silly question, ah well, lol: If you put together a headless guitar, is a FRt able to tune etc by itself, or do you ne...

Re: Chch covers band requires a new bass player
Had our bass player try and show me the basics of bass slapping. I bowed out very early on to his greatness.

Re: Music news websites
The missus used to frequent the NME site quite a bit and fill me in on the goss. They always seemed pretty onto it with the latest. (music stuff in general)

Re: Your rig 5 years ago vs today
Actually, this is something I was wondering about the other day after considering many of the comment that have been offered on this site. Nothing nasty or "tall poppy"-ish or anything like that, just pure and simple observation and speculation; get the sneaky feeling that many of you good...

5yrs ago = diddly squat now = PA ...and how the f*** does one go about affording so many amps over the years as many on here do!? And more importantly, why? (as in, why change the sound if you've got something that works for you?) They either work hard and save cash to buy them or put them on the t...

There is no universe, theoretical or undiscovered, where I would ever pay five grand for a set of pup. That's just mental.

Re: Way, way oldschool
With a lot of that sort of older type stuff, to play on guitar you can pretty much just stick to the main chord changes, maybe fill in a bit (pick) for the rest if need be. Doing that often makes them sound better too rather than trying to play every chords as it's written.

Re: Foo Fighters doco on TV3 now
Based on everyone shining the "choice, eh!" light on 'Wasting Light', went and got it yesterday. Listened to it on the way home, and gave it another go this morning. Was really looking forward to this one. Would be a bit much to call it bad, but gotta say, extremely underwhelming. :( Was t...
