Not wanting to start a fight of course but, in line with Slowy's thread about taking the paint off his G&L strat and the discussion about whether paint/poly affects tone, and including the adage that tone is in the fingers, does nail polish affect tone?

A rub with 0000 steel wool or suchlike...free the tone as per Slowy's thread (!?!?!?!!?)

Listen to Lloyd Spiegel, he has a Cole Clark signature model, and he is a stunning player. The Double Live album is great but it's mainly electric. Tangled Brew, This Time Tomorrow, Timber and Steel albums are all on Spotify and will give you a taste.
