Re: Pedalboard tone suckage woes
Maybe just install a buffer inside the pedal?

Re: Talk to me about wireless..
If Sennheiser fell into budget, their stuff is exceptional. I’ve ended up with the Line6 G90 unit. Tone wise, no change, and you can fiddle about with the cable toan knob to dial a bit more treble back in if you want. Lots of channels, decent range, and very hardy. Mine has careered off the guitar s...

Re: Talk me out of a Rockerverb 50 head
I found the RV50 combo oddly quiet. It definitely needs some efficient speakers to really get the ground shaking. They definitely look great, and it’s a great tone. Just make sure your cab is going to work with it.

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
DIG.JPG Some say Strymon sound sterile. Fair enough. I have two (Flint, Deco) and whenever they're on, I sound very much better. I've recently found the limitations of my TC Flashback so there's nothing else for it... has to be done. :D To a certain extent, the DIG is designed to be sterile or at l...

Re: Hiwatt vs Marshall
Page versus Townsend might be a truer representation, if you’re thinking classic tones.
A lot more savage, chest hurting clean volume and depth from a Hiwatt compared to a JMP. You’ve not known pure, painful volume until you’ve stood in front of a Hiwatt being given some beans.

Re: Trigger happy disputes TM buyer
It sounds like you’re dealing with someone quite young, possibly using their parent’s money.
Could you perhaps discuss what sound they want and maybe help out by taking the fuzz back, selling it to someone else and building them a simple circuit that will sound ok into cheap gear?
