What pedals have you tried with your amp man? Because a heavy pedal through the clean channel should sound good. What kind of tones you want? wow havn't posted for a while... anyway, i currently own a fender blues deluxe which is great, has great tone, a fantastic clean, sounds sick with pedals and is amazing for all the low to medium gain stuff i do however im finding more and more its lacking when i want to just let it rip in drop D, e...

so i just spent $275 on two 30 foot clear connect lava cables, i was using 2 crappy leads before and i definately hear a big difference, more volume, no tone suck, much nicer highs, they sound pheniominal i actually didnt realise the difference would be this big at all. its like as they say, a cover...

the thing with guitar is that theres no shortcut, you cant just practice a really hard peace and expect to play it, you have to learn the basics, get a foundation and work your way up
