Re: Shipping damage - repairers in Auckland?

Re: Shipping damage - repairers in Auckland?
I'm in Auckland and it's a Schecter, so I guess it's a poly finish I've spoken with the seller and I can confirm it was insured (shipped via EMS). At this stage I've got to a point where they've requested a quote to fix it, but I'm yet to get a response to my emails from the people I have contacted ...

Shipping damage - repairers in Auckland?
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of any guitar repairers around that repair/quote finish damage from shipping, or if any of you guys have experience claiming for damage. I've emailed a couple of people I could find off Google but haven't received a response yet. Ash used to be my go-to back in...

What pot do I need?
Pretty simple question. Can you guys identify the best replacement? It is a push pull.

Re: Missing: Gibson ES135
Unfortunately the guy ended up getting off any charges. Somehow he claimed he bought it from Cash Converters and they weren't keeping any records of sales or something similar. Utter rubbish, amazing to think that crook is still allowed around peoples homes.

Re: ID a guitar for me
It's a Gretsch Roc Jet...not many came with a Bigsby, mostly the G tail piece. Cool guitars. Always have Supertrons and big headstocks which was de ri·gueur for the 70's no matter which brand. http://www.tdpri.com/telephoto/data/533/medium/Gretsch_RocJet_Bigsby.jpg edit - look at the shitty break a...

Re: ID a guitar for me
Tried to take a screen grab but was over the size limit and no image editing software.
Yeah looks like a gretch, maybe I'm imagining it but it looks more pointy.
I think they usually play epiphones, but this song is in drop D and the rest of their songs aren't

Re: Missing: Gibson ES135
Yeah, xcaptainx has it, were allowed onto the property so they said tough shit (iirc) I'll have to ask up on that to confirm though. meh, sorting out the pots will be a piece of piss, there's a bit of cracking around the neck joint, not sure if this was inflicted before or after it was stolen, doesn...

Re: Missing: Gibson ES135
I scored an Aria superbass from cash converters ages ago for $300 I think. I sold it on trademe a year later for $650. But I've never seen anything widely identifiable as valuable like a Gibson before. I think if you're going to buy a Gibson legitimately in the first place and need to sell it - a pa...
