Yeah regular lessons might help, but of course you still have to find the motivation anyway. My offer is more based along the lines of, if you have a song that you are trying to learn or a technique that you are trying to master I'll try help you get through that. Mastering a new song or technique ...

Probably a good chance to get a decent setup done on your guitar as well, might as well make the most of it when its gonna have bits removed.

I once tried to make a wah pedal about 20 years ago when I was 15, had a buddy who was into electronics, used a circuit from a book.... it didn't wah but it did pick up a local radio station and played that thru my amp instead

Hmmm interesting, my idea was to have lightning bolts instead of f-holes, to make a slightly more metal version of the PRS :D OK, when these guys say the F holes make a difference, they don't mean it has to be that specific shape. They just mean having holes there roughly that size makes a big diff...
