Banned. That despicable asshole was my childhood hero. Even today, I feel sullied and dirty. I do not appreciate this at all.

I have plenty of picks to give away if people want to throw speakers my way?

I still very much pine for and covet your '76.
Its not pine, its korina!
 It's mahogany though.

For me it's the instrument equivalent of a '59 Buick Invicta, with those big 'ol wings. I love how balanced Explorers feel.
Explorers are the coolest guitars 8)

They look pretty cool now.

Re: Guitar food groups and must try guitar sounds

Two of my Three Strats are Lace equipped and all of my guitars and basses have flatwound strings. I live on my neck pickups and I know its weird, but I have never been happy playing anything using the bridge pup. I guess I don't fit with trebly tones. Gimme the smooth. Caveat - I don't use effects,...

Ordered a Blender kit and OptoPuss optical bypass kit from Fuzz Dog to make a little wet / dry loop box for my bass board to use with some of my fuzz pedals :-)

Rhett Schull for bassists.

Scott’s early stuff was awesome but now I just find them insufferable.

Do I like anyone anymore
I was thinking while watching it that they make Chappers and The Captain seem calm and relaxing in comparison

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?

Going to try running my bass preamp into the effects return of my little joyo JCM800 style head, with the 8" cab I built, wonder if it will do as a basic practice rig when I can't be bothered firing up my computer to play through that...

Broadening my knowledge of the jazz standards. Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise. Loop pedal utilised for the chords. A few bung notes but getting there. Amps are both forum-made (Ryan-built Tweed, Plexi clone assembled by MikeC with cab by BG). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx3b8jgTZgg  :cla...

Re: Bass effects!

Never a huge fan of the SP comp on bass but comp is where I get disgustingly cork sniffery. The blend makes a massive difference and if you have a cheap clone coming you’ll be happy. I don’t like Ross style compressors and greatly prefer optical I've got a Cali76 clone currently which is great but ...
