I'm not a Slash, but I ride at about the height of Angus Young. Not a fucked up high rider, nor a low rider. Somewhere in the middle. And fuck the guy from (The Kinks?) who sticks his arm through the V of the Flying V.

Also forgive me for this total newbie question, but should I run all or some of my pedals through my lonestar special's effects loop? I really don't get why an effects loop is better than just running them into the amp's input. Thanks in advance! Because with the effects loop it is after the pre-am...
