Picked myself up a Sterling Sub Ray 4 today, in lovely sea foam green, will get pics tomorrow when the light is better, neck feels really nice with the satin finish, just like the higher end EB guitars I’ve played… just need to drop the action a touch and she’ll be a runner! Had one for a few years...

yep needed a new nut :) a zero fret at the first fret is not a good idea!

Only needs a nut if the old one is too low - the frets were tiny and now its got jumbos :D

Had to reload a backup yesterday trying to solve the server issues we've had lately. We will have lost some posts, at least we're back online :)

Plyman in Henderson used to be my 'dealer', they do real wood too ;) Pine is stupid cost from the big box stores. Not found a good cheap source of pine here yet, though I haven't really looked that hard.

Maton is ready for a refret, matchstick frets have to go!
