I had the intention of making this a mini grab and go board, but in practice I just ended up adding it next to my big board to create an even bigger board, no one can tell me I didn't try though.

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I watched most of that. He pretty instantly dismissed the pickups though both sounded great. I've two '54 reissue Strats. One from '94 and the other from 2014. I prefer one through my Marshall-voiced amp, and the other through my Fender-voiced. I'm not sure why for Mick it seems like he's looking f...

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Mick gets a new one! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amCnjNQCmiE What do you think of Mick's new Strat, I think he should just sell some gear, a motorbike his dog :moresarc:, whatever else it takes to just get a vintage Strat. No other guitar or mods are going to scratch that itch for him, although...

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I'm still messing around with screws and knobs, but so far I'm really liking the new direction I'm taking this strat. You could put three EMGs in there and I'd still go weak at the knees. I've always loved that finish so much. It's starting to green out a bit over time which you can't really see in...

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I'm still messing around with screws and knobs, but so far I'm really liking the new direction I'm taking this strat. What are the pickups? The neck pickup is a Gabojo Gold Foil HB that was in Grants Jr and the Bridge is a Mojotone Gold Foil and the middle is J.M Rolph. I needed the HB in the neck ...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
the neck joint on that one was pretty strange, just two screws and the pocket wasn't flat but rounded like the neck iirc. Yeah one screw to hold the neck in place and the other one is to tilt the neck, sometimes people crank the tilt thinking it is to take the neck off and they end up screwing the ...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
so cool! Dibs Noted. They are great guitars but this one in particular is a killer example, I had a long list of reasons not to buy it but as soon as I picked it up at first strum I knew I was in trouble. I think the bridge pickup makes a good case for being the best bridge single coil ever made, l...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Sometimes I set a figure way to high on the autobid thinking there is no way it will go that high, then I forget to press the autobid button. 30 minutes later the guitar is home and I'm blown away by the greasy blues tones, this is the best slide tone I've ever heard on an electric guitar and incred...
