Re: Any Komets in NZ?

I came close to buying one, but they need to be played at volume to get the most out of them and they are really loud. With stage volumes coming down and my decision to be done with attenuators I decided against it. I'd love to try one though. J - what model were you looking at? I know Hogy's favou...

Re: Any Komets in NZ?

Two Rock is the same, the master volumes are so incredibly good now, it's at the point that the master volume sounds considerably better than an attenuator or reamping.

Let’s see the Echoplex!
I love this thing, best tone sweetner on the planet, takes any amp and makes it sound better, being one of the greatest sounding delays is just a bonus.

Re: Guitar Toan, What Actually Matters?

As an aside...Josh Smith (Flat V Lounge cat) regularly asks his guests, "if you had to choose between playing a shitty guitar (tuneable, intoned and otherwise playable...just wasn't nice to the touch or exactly your sound kinda thing) or going through a shitty amp (again, it works but otherwis...

I love the matching headstock, for some reason I love the darker colour headstocks on Suhr's.

Re: NAFX3D!

Congrats that setup looks amazing. I find most of the cygnus presets have way to many effects on them and insane levels of delay are the Austin Buddy presets the same? Pretty much as HackSaw said. They really set you up to get you going and you can customise from there. That sounds perfect, and goo...

Re: The Fractal Audio Thread

I only had one cable to hook up one monitor but it sounded great, huge fun factor and I forgot how easy it is to shed with a boat load of gain and effects. I'm a bit disappointed with the Sitar sound though. My favourite sound is the big tweeds pushed hard, even the ghost notes come out, it's great.
