Re: Stereo Amp head
I've nearly started something like this a couple of times. Just 2x AX84 power amps http://www.ax84.com/corepoweramps.html , or the Harmless power amp http://cuamps.com/harmless.html is a bit more complete.

the complex engine - free ep, much bedroom DIY
hi all, for your entertainment. No shredding, blues or cookie monster vox I'm afraid, but a lot of it is done with DIY guitars, amps, preamps and compressors. All in little bedroom studio using http://Reaper.fm http://music.thecomplexengine.com or https://soundcloud.com/thecomplexengine/sets/audienc...

Re: Album Mixing Tips
Having just finished mixing a CD ( http://paulwinders.bandcamp.com ) on which I also did a fair bit of the music, I realised one of the things I forgot was to constantly check against my reference cd's. It is so easy to miss the woods for the trees, and checking back against something you like (and ...

I'm building a cab for a DIY amp at the moment. I'm using NZ pine, which I got from ITM, 28cm x 2cm x whatever lengths you need. Cost me about $40 for 2.2 meters. For ply for the baffle I went to plyman, http://plyman.co.nz/ they have a variety of good quality stuff, if not actual baltic birch. I'm ...

I've just started building a "Two Stroke", a simple low-watt tube amp from a book by David Hunter. Am doing a build blog. I've just registered the domain twostrokeamp.com, until that comes up, my first (static) blog attempt is sitting at http://twostrokeamp.insideloop.co.nz
