Re: Show Us Your Guitar
My partsocaster. I love it. It has a Warmoth strat neck with birdseyes. The body is basswood. It has an 8ml bookmatched flame maple top. A bloke made the body in a workshop out the back of his home, in Yorkshire, England. The bridge pickup is an SD Jeff Beck. The neck is USA made but a mail order br...

Re: The new breed of Mesa - review
I found the review of the mesa mark v very helpful. I am about to spend a few grand on an amp. I play covers. I could buy a roadster 2 x 12, or a mark v with a 2 x 12 cab. I have some questions for those of you who know these amps. Which of the two amps is the more versatile? Which does the better c...

Ultimate Covers Gigging Amp
If you want to play covers of top 40 songs, what is the ultimate guitar amp? Money is no object, but you can only pick one single amp. I am thinking it would need three or four distinct tones. The tones have to have vibe. And each be foot switchable. The tones would be pristine Fender Twin clean, Fe...

I would take ...

Re: The new breed of Mesa - review
NZRS_Matt, so that we can fully prep myself for discussions with the Rock Shop on an individual basis regarding a Mark V, out of respect for the non-commercial nature of the forum, what criteria would you look for in an individual customer to decide whether to offer the lowest price? Signs of povert...

Re: The new breed of Mesa - review
NZRS_Matt, to save us all making separate inquiries, what is the Rock Shop's best price for a new Mark V head?

Re: The new breed of Mesa - review
A cheap way to get a Mark V head is on ebay. 6 month old heads go for USD1800. Shipping is USD250. GST is USD300. At today's exchange rate, you pay about NZD3200. Anyone who has Mesa gear knows that it doesn't break down, so only the easily frightened will worry about being sent a dud. Then pick up ...

Lyndsey Buckingham
Has anyone worked out the chords/tab to the bridge and chorus of Frozen Love, from the 1973 Buckingham Nicks album?
