Re: Anybody use a Marshall Bluesbreaker combo?

A great gigging Amp. got all the balls you need. Makes the Blackstar stuff look like lego :moresarc: Its very Twin like in the sense its over kill for many gigs and very heavy to lug around. But if you want the real deal then get one. The 1974 handwired stuff was just easier to live with.

NGD ES333

I managed to pickup another ES 333 that popped up on ebay last week. I really like the satin finish the 333 has over the 335 and they play well. Gibson only made them in 03 for a short run. About the same time as the whole faded series was released. Came in Cherry , Natural and Brown. Same construct...

Re: Cashies Find.

CC was one of those Companies that was hurt by the internet. It just was a timing thing. But I see they are still in business and as we all know there are full of "stuff" But people use them and I suppose they have a place in the market. Some of them even use TM to sell items. I find TM a ...

Cashies Find.

I enjoy popping into CC when I get the chance. Any city I visit I always take a wander as you just never know what you might find. There is always the usual junk of Ashton guitars and no name basses. How any retail outlet could have sold those new is a crime. I was trolling their glass cabs of trash...

Re: Tell me about boosters...

You can also use an OD pedal as a boost/Booster pedal. turn the drive down and volume up. has a similar effect. Most booster pedals try to keep the middle ground in term of colour and unlike a OD pedal which will have a flavour. eg. Boss V Tube screamer etc. It all comes down to the type of boost yo...

Re: Remember the 80s

This amp is a Hybrid type.

Solid State Clean Channel
Gain Channel has 12Ax7 tubes

I like the Gain channel for low gain classic rock. And the Clean tends to get the pedal like me Boss Turbo Distortion DS2.
There is alot of head room.

CE2 into a fender is supposed to be the tits. I preferred the CE3 cuz it wasn't as middy.

Does the amp have a ridiculous gain channel?
it does have a good gain. two stage gain channel . It a bit too loud this amp. but the Clean channel loves pedals.

Re: Remember the 80s

Well its sort of first after the power supply. Real men never wore spandex or use a FR. :P

I have to dig deep into the parts bin to find them all. A few more Boss pedal would help like a CE2 and maybe DD2 ? I have an ME5 here some where.

Remember the 80s

After hearing a few Dire Straits tracks on the way home, I just had to get my 80s setup out. :P its maybe a bit too old school these days  Fender amp , 88 Fender Strat plus and the icing... A row of Boss pedals. back then there was not alot else around but they covered most bases. its still on...

Re: Seven sisters Pedal.

That was my first problem. You need to disconnect them from the pedal chain in order to save the life. that took a couple of harsh lessons to learn Its a great idea, but I can't see it working as they intended in the real world. For an $70 pedal they work pretty well. Don't know if I am keen to depe...

Seven sisters Pedal.

Anybody using the Seven sisters pedal? I have a Eve tremolo pedal. Which is a different voiced tremolo to the others in my collection. But asking how do you all get on with ion cell that they use? its great that its doesn't take a power lead of the power pack, but I find they drain very quickly. any...

Where does it all go?
I know that its worthless on the black market. Cant sell it online? WE never seen anybody turn here with a new guitar and not realise its been stolen?

Just seems to end up under kids beds ?
