I'm sure that PAFs vary and may not even resemble what I've described. But if I'm looking for humbuckers that meet those characteristics, Super 58 and Custombuckers are when I'd look. I’ve heard that ESR increases with voltage rating on caps, so the trick is to get ones that have a rating higher than they’ll see in the circuit, but not excessively higher.
