i would say keep the les paul, but then i saw the ash selection, i beleive it would b cool to have a "NZ Guitar" up there, but end of the day its the forum that matters not the main banner.

got an amp guru on the job, worse case scenario happened with the tubes, causing resistors to blow and crap like that, all that replaced, no shit i ordered a set on tung sol pre amp tubes, and a set of mullard el34s from the states on monday, and they turned up that friday(today)!!! i was stoaked, g...

ok this is my thoery, like u say 20 volts and theyed be melting? so the tube cant b getting 20 volts to it, the tubes are old and the pre amps will obvoisly need changing, so i reakon the reason its sounding like shit is coz the tubes are shot, thanks to uneven bias and now a bias i cant get right c...

yea the tubes that originally gave me 20 volts gave the correct mV on the left hand side. i just removed C46 which many ppl have said screws them up, however by taking that out it read up at 80 volts on the right hand side, left hand side still fine. ppl have said to take it out or put in a larger c...
