I just checked my guitar. It does exactly the same as VG's (except fretted notes are flat not sharp).

Well, you're playing a gig. you break a string, whammo - whole guitar instantly out of tune, search for key to undo locking nuts, unwind string, search again for key to undo other end of string, search for pliers to clip off new string, ask for the lights to go on so you can see what your doing. re...
