Re: This should sound... weird

Rad, thanks for that. I often use 9mm pcb mount pots but I've always had trouble finding a pcb mount rotary switch that will work with them. These seem to be perfect.

Wow, I'm so jelly of your modular synth setup. I know if I get one I'd probably never leave the house.

Also, those rotary switches look awesome.. I've always been looking for something similar do you have any part numbers? Screw wiring rotary switches that's for sure.

Re: Small Pedalboard Q&A

The general rule is distortion/overdrive/fuzz you can usually daisy chain these no problem. The problems come when you start to use digital effects/analog delays. (Or anything with a BBD.) They have timing signals which by themselves are normally well above the audible spectrum but if you give them ...

Re: show us your home made pedals

Thanks Hamo! I made a quick demo. It works quite well with delays too. Also, I ran it into my mates Prunes n Custard. Makes the thing sound like a synth. :wtf: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1YQP4nTlQY ..heh I just relised my edit of the stuffing around at the end part didn't actually happen... oh...

Re: show us your home made pedals

Hey mysteriousj. Your layouts look incredible. I make all my stuff in eagle.. but have never had a pcb manufactured elsewhere. Is it much of a step up when working with smds, or just knowing the layout and schematic are verified and subbing in the smd parts? Also, will hopefully get a demo up in th...

Mysterious is that PT2399 delay? Cool layouts :)
Yeah it's a pt2399, but I'm hoping to make a BBD based one next.. I might also make a DIY friendly pt2399 for people as well but it'll take a while.

Re: Devi Ever - Console

Looking at the initial pricing though, $35 for the base cartridge probably isn't going to save you much compared to the cost of the enclosure, pots, knobs and painting. Yeah true I wish it was a bit cheaper. For my diy projects though most of them i never end up finishing. I usually stop right when...

I didn't mean it to come across as spam.I kinda have to link to kickstarter because that's the only place there's proper info about it. I was just keen to see if people in NZ were interested in...

Devi Ever - Console

I always thought it was rad. So pretty happy it seems like it's actually going to happen this time round. Heaps of really talented builders seem on board too  . It's not for everyone though, but is anyone else here into it/gonna get one? Kickstarter closes in like just over 2 days. http://www....

wire, in NZ?

Hey,i'm just wondering if anyone knows where you can get stranded wire here in NZ about awg=24, or anything suitable for pedals. I have been using some stuff i got from smallbear, but have run out and don't want to wait for international shipping. Any suggestions?
