Re: Small combo for playing the blues

Hey I just picked up a couple of the ibanez five watters, but they don't have reverb. There is one on trademe with the retro tv styling and reverb, that is at $425. http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instrume ... 795829.htm

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?

SG-3 faded. Bit of an impulse, been wanting to try an SG out for a while. Flagged away the Johnny Marr Jag then? JM's still on my hit-list. Hoping not to have to bid much further. I'm hoping you don't feel the need to bid much further too... In other news my employer agreed to reimburse me for some...

Lunchbox v 'Full-Size' Amps

Interesting thread, have yet to go through it in detail, so I apologize if some of my input has already been covered. I've gigged with a variety or full size, digital, DI, full stack, half stack and small cab offerings. I'm currently using a 15w 2U amp and whatever cab I can get as backline. While ...

Effects Pedal Hire Business Idea

I looked at the hire idea but it is pretty risky. Have you thought about a sale with guaranteed buy back at a lower price (sliding) That way you get your risk covered off up front and the punter gets to try with less risk

Re: Can a pedal ever sound as good as an amp channel?!

Edge knows a thing or two about chords... He does, there was a recent article about it. http://waterfordwhispersnews.com/2014/10/29/the-edge-learns-new-chord/ Still not sure if he was having a laugh or for real, maybe both. Is that the famous double-troll? The article is a troll, and your'e pretend...

Re: Can a pedal ever sound as good as an amp channel?!

actually this video reminded me what I didn't like about BB ..... he never plays any rhythm guitar. Did he when he was younger??? Not often. I've seen an older clip where he was playing some chords, but it's not really his thing. I'm sure I've read an interview where he claimed he didn't know how t...

Thanks. Read some info on it. Why would it need a battery?
That one in the link doesn't require battery, the "plus" model looks like it has one just for the LEDs.
