Intellectual Copyright exists right from when you have written a song. There is no process of applying for "copyright" on your music - it is there automatically. You'd only head to APRA if you wanted to register with them to receive royalties on sales of your music.

perhaps someone should start a free/cheap plugin thread? The only problem is that a lot of the free plugins aren't great. They take an immense amount of coding and people/companies that build them usually want to be compensated. I did find a few relatively decent freebies a while ago, so I'll look ...

I'd just be concerned about what AD converters are being used in it... Surely it would bump the price up a fair way if they were decent, so can't imagine it would be too useful apart from laying down some basic DI guides.
