I-SPIRA "SILENTE" SINGLE COILS

They are very hi performance single coils, silent exactly like humbuckers. The constructor stated: "A frantic search in an attempt to eliminate the noise of singlecoil without altering the formidable nature of his sound and character. Succeed with the limits in order to dynamic response and out...

Re: Show your amp's guts

This is the EL34 triode connection mod, in my VOX Night Train 50. In this case, the G1 grid stopper resistors can be replaced by 100Ohm ones, instead of the original 5.6KOhm. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sp5N8y5aBF0/VtW4y9R4iBI/AAAAAAAAAYA/w07Q1q64PHs/s1600/IMG_20160227_021612.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot....

My actual amp set: VOX NIGHT TRAIN 50 HEAD (SELF MODDED, EL34's TRIODE CONNECTED) ASAR V12 LEGEND, 1x12 CLOSED CABINET (EMINENCE V12 LEGEND SPEAKER, 8 OHM) https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H6w34yRtrYw/VtM7TWqUZZI/AAAAAAAAAV8/RuUFUpKJB-I/s1600/NIGHT%2BTRAIN%2BBLOG.jpg Now I am realizing the Voyager X proje...

Re: Home amp/noise making device dilemma

Surely the Laney Cub 10 is a great amp. But, typically, push-pull amps gives better sound at the higher power output. I think probably the Cub 8 sounds similarly to as described by bbrunskill and helps better to solve the head_strong's dilemma.

Re: Home amp/noise making device dilemma

Have ever tried a THD Univalve or a Cicognani Brutus? Maybe a low wattage single-ended could help solve the problem.

Re: Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

The translator works quite well, it's my brain that crashes  . Should you have the problem of strange noises, specially in an amp that has never undergone repairs or customizations, I suggest you check his schematic and see if there is any 12AX7/ECC83 whose triodes are used one in a common ca...

Re: Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

Thank you, Vince.
You're right, UNIQUE, surely it is better to leave it alone. The speech I wanted to do it would be too complicated to put into practice.

Re: Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

You're right, Willow, it's just like you said. I, however, wanted to say to UNIQUE that the solution of replacing tubes solves the problem only temporarily. After I have started to expose the problem technically, at least in the premises. I'm sorry for my bad English. I do not have an amplifier with...

Re: Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

If you think this thread is spam, or that to solve the problem that UNIQUE seems to have understood is sufficient tighten or replace any component, go ahead as you want. No problem, for me. I can also spend my free time in other ways.

Re: Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

I believe that the technician who can help you is myself, even if I live far away from you. I do not sell anything that would solve the problem. For guitarists who can give me directly their amps, in Italy, I intervene directly to suitably modify the circuitry. In your case, however, I will try to a...

Well, Unique, you did the easiest thing you could. Pity that after a certain period, the problem is as before. Not so, maybe? :wtf:

Strange rumors from amp after some hundred hours...

To any of you happened to have a tube amp that started making strange noises like blowings and cracklings, after a certain period of service of the amplifier?

Re: What are you gassing for?

Really interesting, Unique! If I understand correctly there is some P90 with the size suits Strat? Or have you expanded the pick up compartment of a Strat to accommodate the P90? Hamo, even the sound of the humbucker has great charm, otherwise the Les Paul and other great guitars with humbuckers wou...
