Re: tele semi-hollowbody goodness

Minor contribution to the thread... my long-suffering #1... equipped with Lollar Vintage set, and one of the nicer necks I've had the pleasure of playing. Great guitar.

Re: Fuzz me up

I'll see if I can snatch some coin together to ply it from thy mitts. Just thought I'd add - Stack Studios - it was our first time... and what a place! We were thoroughly sick of dealing with the **** of our ol...

Played one for half an hour or so at Musicplanet. The Jack White tones were in there, for sure... I enjoyed the organ sounds, and the strange pitch shifted sounds... but for sure, my favourite trick (was playing a Gretsch into a Vox) was adding the sub-harmonics (low end) and blitzing the output lev...

I had a SIB Varidrive. Great pedal. It was 110v. You just get one of those wallwart type ones from dick smith. Not very ezpensive And in a strange turn of events... I'm pretty sure I just bought your old Varidrive. It just arrived from Wellington, complete with Dick Smith adaptor from the picture. ...

Beautiful stuff - music to my ears! The only thing that was worrying me about the stepdown was the tube preamp... it uses a 12ax7, so I was unsure whether the draw would be large or not. Finding specs on this pedal is a nightmare! Next up on my purchase list is a Lovetone Big Cheese... apparently DA...
