The Smallbox amp itself has a percussive chug-chug at high gain settings that's like being punched in the face. Great amp.

It's all good here but it's my wife's home, not mine. She's now finally realized that NZ feels more like home to her than here. Super narrow market for fancy-pants amps I suppose. How many Katanas sell for every Friedman? And the folk that buy boutique likely don't have to sell them.

I have my Small Box 50 combo and Carr Mercury. They're the only ones I removed from the NZ pool.
