Re: RockShop Black Friday Sale!
Haha, I nearly fell of my chair when I saw the first line of "deals":
Cleaning products
Recorders and Accessories (???)
Books
Marshall Lifestyle

Re: Mexi Vs Merkin Fenders

Re: Mexi Vs Merkin Fenders

Re: Help with getting started in home recording
I've been using Reaper (and so does one of my mates), I think their "evaluation mode" is brilliant, who would really go to the effort of pirating it? And the full license is so cheap I will be purchasing the full license as my time spent recording increases to avoid the 5 second "buy...

Re: Any experience with Behringer power amps?
For the record, I don't know if its improved quite so much as always been hit and miss quality wise, you never know if its going to be a dud until you've put it through its paces, but luckily here the CGA will look after you regardless.

Re: Help with getting started in home recording
My start in home recording was pretty simple. Simple cheap gear, simple cheap (ie. torrented cubase and vsts) a lot of it is creativity/ability in writing and arranging. A lot also comes down to the subjective nature of sound. have fun! I've been using Reaper (and so does one of my mates), I think ...

Re: Guitar Setup Kit?
Yeah, I suppose the follow up is I went and bought like $25 worth of tools, and then recently a soldering iron etc. and all in I've probably spent $100.
Still missing a feeler gauge.
