Cutting a template in CHC (or NZ)
Does anyone know who can cut templates from a drawing in CHC, ideally in clear plastic? I'm only asking about CHC for ease of comms and not needing to courier stuff. At a pinch I guess it can be anywhere in NZ.

Enable the sweetened tunings and never look back! Is that the one where the default frequency is set 332Hz rather than 440Hz? It adjusts the frequency per string to make up for coming instrument inadequacies as far as I know :-) Yes, it's per string. James Taylor has a nice YouTube video about his ...

I really, really want a Yamaha Revstar in Green Didn't the forum pool have one of these about two years back? I think Mr Badger had one with a cool tailpiece... pretty sure it was green too. They look damn cool. Another memorable point, IIRC, it had a rather girthy neck. Jay compiled a spreadsheet ...

Re: Rick Toone's revolutionary Strat trem
I contacted him a while back. He was still looking for a suitable manufacturer.

Re: Do you remove the trem cover on your Strat?
I took it off to adjust the tension, and left it off for a while to make sure I'm happy with it. Now I can't find where I put the cover!

To be honest, I can't really watch him play. He's far too intense for me. The track that introduced me to him was Alchemy. Search YouTube, lots of videos out there.

Having done a recent delve into where they’re made, it’s quite murky, but up until 2020, they were made in New York, until the Pigtronix group, can’t remember their name, Bond maybe, took over, now they won’t say and know one...
