Re: Post-Rock Artists

I'm starting a post djent project! Hahaha my friend and I have been joking about that for the last couple of months. That'd basically be a whole lot of rhythmic picking that you wouldn't be able to hear because of delay and reverb anyway   My plan is to build a one string 30" scale ...

Re: What are you gassing for?

Hi guys, I'd definitely give it some thought if the price was right and I had a chance to try it at a reasonable volume! It's really hard to get a feel for the amp when you can't push it above 2...

Re: What are you gassing for?

Every time I walk into the Chch rockshop, there's an Orange Rockerverb 50 combo that calls my name... Anyone had a play on one? I'd wanna try it out in a band setting before committing to spending 3.6k on an amp...

Re: Good old delayand reverb pedal

My go-to are Strymon El Capistan & Nuenabar WET. Providence Chrono delay is way cool too. I remember Kloppsta posting a link for the GFI Systems pedals. Specular reverb & Clockwork delay demo's were pretty drool worthy. On a budget I'd say TC Flashback or Boss DD3 TC Hall of Fame, or Line 6...

Re: Going wireless

Haha yeah i think that's what I was told, no rush for digital wireless because 2.4GHz band is and will become more crowded. Plus because of the whole analog tv shutdown, the lower UHF bands that aren't going to be used for LTE are even freer than before for UHF systems. Either way, if you don't hav...

Re: Going wireless

Have thought about going wireless many times, but have been a bit paranoid about going into the aby with it. What brands are worth looking at? Everyone to comment so far seems to have nothing but sunshine & rainbows :D , anyone on the other side? I've heard some stories about the line 6 stuff s...

Re: Going wireless

It's funny that people say that they play on a small stages so it's a waste. I find that's one of the more useful times. It frees up room and allows you to move past people and objects that given the tight space would have otherwise be awkward. It certainly gives you a sense of freedom from being t...

Re: Going wireless

I know exactly what you mean. Same, I felt like it'd be a bit overkill, but then after I got the chance to try it out, it was cheap enough to go for anyway...

I never tried one of the coiley cables! Maybe I should've done that first... :P

Going wireless

So I got a great deal on a Samson synth 7 wireless system, and used it for battle of the bands last friday. It was great, no latency, tonewise it seemed practically the exact same, and the SNR is high enough that i couldn't hear any hiss or noise! Now sitting on my pedal board, using it as a riser f...
