Re: Evidence Audio, Death by Audio, services etc
Sorry you feel you have had a bad experience Conway, Im not here on NZG often hence no reply to PM. If I seemed brief in my email replies it could have been that it was during my day working hours and I was sneaking in a reply as quick as possible so the boss didnt sack me. So here is a bit of a bac...

Re: What's on your work bench?

Re: New Guitar Expectations...
Have yet to see a new, shop bought guitar to be considered "set up", those Ive purchased new have had minor scratches, rusty strings and from factory uneven frets, forget about the rest, never. I feel there needs to be a factor of set up cost over and above the price to purchase an instrum...

So she's close to being done, frets levelled, intonated, just needs final setup, gotta love locking tuners, plugged in sounds amazing, natural sustain unplugged is the best Ive ever experienced, we'll see how that goes through an amp but I'm sure its controllable. https://i.imgur.com/eCXJP1L.jpg Lo...

Re: What's on your work bench?
Second neck for today, finished the mahogany neck for the chambered body guitar, this one is for the silver burst tele. Ive got 3 consignments coming from 3 different guitar parts suppliers, keeping my fingers crossed they all arrive soon as I'm running out of things to do here! https://i.imgur.com/...

Next up is a Silverburst Tele with P90s and a Maple vintage gloss neck.
Both will be for sale on TM once we are released from lockdown.

Re: What's on your work bench?
Its just Basswood, its all I've got available at the moment, going to use some mahogany grain filler on it to see how that goes. I have all the parts and a ton of rosewood cap material I sourced, just need the body.

Re: Effects issue
Yup, Fasel has both terminals broken on the board and is flopping around, and there is some kinda short with the wiring either from the switch, the wah pot or the connector block from these to the board. Im getting good strong signal now but no wah sound, im about ready to throw this thing in the ru...

Re: Effects issue
Turns out theres something more to this issue, tried using the wah loop yesterday and it was very quiet again, frustratingly shaking the wah made it loud then cut in and out again, its definitely not any of the cables. Ive had this since late last year while collecting items for the board and never ...

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Ive always wanted a setup that does it all for me, whenever, whatever, however - I play Tool, blues, ambient and rock and this allows me to expand to some pretty weird sounds too. The small Vox amp is for practise as I have the small 8" 25W cab to go with it, the amp can also go into any other ...
