Re: Any "forever" amps?

As I think someone else mention on here I love my Fender Supersonic 22, it just does what I want and has been very flexible too. I’ve been through a multitude of amps over the years including: Marshall Tsl100 Mesa Single Rectifier DSL401 Laney LH50 Peavey Classic 30 Blackstar HT40 Mesa Stiletto Duec...

Re: Gretsch Truss Rod Help Needed

You can see the neck has some relief but buzz’s from 10th fret to 12th gret.

Will have to get hold of a steel rule and measure how far out it is.

I should’ve checked the guitar more thoroughly but excitement of something new took over.

Pretty bloody gutted to be honest.

Re: Gretsch Truss Rod Help Needed

I was however I don't usually ask if I can tweak the neck/action on site, these sort of things aren't usually an issue and can be sorted when home.

Re: Gretsch Truss Rod Help Needed

Thanks I think I will do, I spoke to the guy I traded with and said he sent all his guitars to a Luthier for adjustment and I've tampered with it so no way.

Gretsch Truss Rod Help Needed

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I traded my Firebird Powerjet for a hollow body Gretsch which is a lovely guitar. However, I saw the neck had a little bit more relief than I wanted so went to tweak the truss rod by 1/8 turn however when going to adjust the trussrod I found that the trussrod is a...

Re: Home contents, Guitar cover

Thanks for the info Grant.

Who would you recommend, we're currently with Ami.

Will I need to get the guitars independently valued?

Home contents, Guitar cover

Hi guys, it's that time of year where our contents insurance is up for renewal.

I wanted to ask who you guys would recommend for also covering guitars under the policy?

I'm aware that I'll have to have a couple under additional single items.

Any other advice would be great.

Thanks
Dan

Ive never heard disparaging things about them?

I think it was more so in the uk, as they have a stigma about them being only good for Rockabilly etc.

The necks are close to a 60s Gibson profile however the 65 is slightly chunkier than the 62
