Vox 100w combo speaker replacement
My vox combo has 2 x 12 inch 16ohm 80w vox speakers. Apparently it's a great rock /metal amp. Alas - speakers blown. My question is could /should I replace with 2 x 16ohm wired parallel as it currently is (giving 8 ohms overall) or 2x4ohm speakers in series giving 8 ohms overall? Is there even a way...
