One, The Frayed Ends of Sanity, and Harvester of Sorrow (from ...And Justice for All album). It's difficult to find guitar tabs online back then (late 90's) :)

Re: Re-carve a neck profile

D shape to C is not difficult. Rasps/files or coarse sandpaper on a block to remove the meat, then finer grits until it's smooth enough for a finish. Tru-oil or wipe-on poly are easy. Just don't remove any depth from the middle of the neck unless you 100% know exactly how deep the truss rod is. Or ...

Lyle wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 1:40 pm What's the neck? If it's bolt on you might be able to sell it and buy a replacement with the profile you want for less cost than getting a luthier to reshape.
Specs mention 'standard neck profile' - didn't tell if D or C-shape. It's a Framus D-Series guitar by the way.

I'd say if you have to ask, then get a luthier to do it.
I suppose luthier is the best way. I hope it won't cost much.

Re-carve a neck profile

Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried modifying a guitar neck (from D shape to C shape)? Do you need a luthier for the work or can be DIY?

Cheers.

Re: Stacking Overdrives - Do you do it?

For me, stacking is a great way of achieving a dynamic tone at low volumes. Although, I prefer to stack boost pedals. My current go to for base sound is the boost side of my zvex box of rock into a super hard on clone into a Timmy with a smidge of hair. I have 2 fuzzes at start of chain for extra d...

Happy New Year 2022.

Does stacking ODs generally call for a noise gate pedal?

Cheers.
