Pink Floyd Experience - any good?

So, these guys are touring soon and playing Animals, Dark Side, and Wish you were here in their entirety. From what I've read and seen on YouTube they sound pretty good, but here's the thing... tickets to this gig are between $100 and $120! I'll never get to see the real thing and these guys are app...

Re: Advice on possible trade deal - Taylor for Suhr

Thanks all for the input. The guy with the Suhr is out of town for a couple of weeks, so the current plan is to do a trial swap for a few days in mid Feb to see if we are both happy with the trade. Gives me a couple of weeks to make my mind up and see if anything else comes along that I like the loo...

I could trade you a much nicer Taylor for that Suhr...714
Well that's good to know! If I don't gel with the Suhr maybe I could trade up for your 714 :)

Re: Advice on possible trade deal - Taylor for Suhr

Thanks guys. To answer some questions... The N2 has coil tap so can get close to a strat type jangle (though would be nowhere near the same league as the Suhr). I paid about $3800 for the Taylor back in 2007 - it's in great nick.. I'd value it at about $2800 now, but I guess it's a matter of perspec...

Advice on possible trade deal - Taylor for Suhr

Hi all, I have a possible trade deal on my hands but need some advice from a couple of angles: 1.) Would I be doing alright on this trade in terms of value? Taking into account resale if I go through with it and it doesn't float my boat for whatever reason. 2.) Is this going to fill a niche in terms...

Re: Country Calendar Theme..

More info... found an oldfriends profile of a woman who says her husband wrote and performed the theme. More googling turned up the name Shelby Grant... A wellington guitar teacher. Could be worth contacting for more info (and maybe a tab?): http://www.bandwave.com/work-shop/teachersTutors/listOfTea...

Re: Guitar Cut n Polish?

Thanks Ash... I think I may take your advice. I've found some nice looking examples of this being done to Larrivees, Collings, Breedloves and Taylors using the Meguiars products (scratch x before deep crystal polish - step 1), in some cases giving an amazingly good full polish effect: http://www.lar...
