Did you play that LP in the States or just buy it and hoped it would be a good one ?

There are going to be lots of products that have Agents in each region - just depends on how much of a stink the Agents make to the Manufacturers - I know Gibson AMI in Aus would be really pissed off with US stores for shipping to Aus/NZ...and would let Gibson USA know all about it...

I've used http://www.shipbuktu.com for small items (pretty expensive). I asked them how much a guitar would cost and they estimated over $NZ250 based on the size rather than weight...but still you don't know until you have the item shipped to them....

I'm real happy with the SD Jazz I put into my Explorer - much better than the stock Gibson ceramic which sounded pretty nasty and muffled..

I really like my SD SSL-5....still sounds like a strat but much higher gain
