The Jazzmaster. Okay, okay, I’ve got Strats on the brain at the moment, clearly. Sigmund would have a thing or two to say about that slip up. Are you looking for a mint Elite Strat only a couple of years old? :D I’m not ‘not looking’ for one. I’ll hit you up when I’m back from the USA :-)

Stunning. Is this the model with the locking tuners and the push/pull pots?

Re: Telecaster porn, Lowden porn, whiskey porn

Surely sir would like the Ardbeg Dark Cove instead? See photo. Ardbeg is well and good, but I'd rather the Port Ellen. I always eye whisky from closed distilleries with suspicion. There is a certain amount of the "once it's gone, it's gone" factor, but I do also wonder why they closed, if...

Ardbeg is well and good, but I'd rather the Port Ellen. Some serious whiskey porn there.

Re: Langcaster guitars....

I don't own a Langcaster, but to set the record straight, there are NO Chinese copies of Langcaster guitars (sorry to bust your bubble). No other wood or crafty process can duplicate the grain of swamp kauri wood. Each Langcaster guitar took a few months to build, and less than a handful or so exis...

Re: Cash Converters Linwood for all your stolen gear!

imagine what you could pick up in a pawn shop somewhere like vegas, people will pawn anything to fuel the debt Not as interesting as you might think, the one I went to was full of junk. Kind of figured people who pawned stuff to keep gambling had long since sold anything of any value. This, they ar...

Re: Buy that dream guitar or complete a garage jamming setup?

If you're negotiable on the PRS model and willing to wait, $2-3.3k on trademe will buy you a very nice PRS. Also, if you want to sell it on, you won't be taking a bath on resale. What Singlecoil and Jhorner said makes total sense re PA and drumming situation. Also, totally agree with Nik, use the le...

Re: NAD: How my Weekend Downtime is Looking

Sounds like a bit of flexibility work is in order? I do feel like hex is cheating, or at least a different exercise, a big part of dead is developing the back strength and lower joint flexibility to clear the knees without rounding out or losing balance. If it works for you and avoids injury then g...

Re: NAD: How my Weekend Downtime is Looking

Its just... many of the powerlifting sites I follow look down on the sumo  lol I'll have to look into it. How are Hex bars? Never seen the technique or know about the differences but seen them used. https://youtu.be/7K9wTlqg_OE Because of how the weight is situated with a hex bar, it's much e...

Re: NAD: How my Weekend Downtime is Looking

Sweet little setup you've got there. Deadlifting is about the best and worst thing you can do for your back (depending on your technique). If you end up sore, try a wider stance with a closer grip and go sumo style, or use a hex bar and you'll never have problems again :-) Thanks mate. Yeah, I'm 6'...
