Re: Headless Lurve
JB, check out the new Muse video for 'Madness'. Matt Bellamy is playing a headless MIDI guitar. The (short) solo is at the 3 minute mark, but there are hot legs to keep you amused until then.
An electronic headless guitar should be right up your vegemite valley.

Re: Fresh Start? Replacing an entire gig-rig..
Fresh start? For once in my life I am absolutely content with all my gear. I even have 2 of my 3 amps for sale on TM at the moment. Happiness is when you finally have the guitars, effects, amp (and PA) that you need to enjoy playing, make a dollar with, and even help feed & support your family ...

I used to have a Cort Steiny clone for taking on the road with work. It was great for plugging though a Korg Pandora with a MP3 or CD player through headphones to learn songs in motel rooms.

Re: Steve Vai's, The Story Of Light streaming.
I've had the album for a week, and think it is one of his best and most complete albums yet. It seems to have tracks that resound from every era of his career, presented with his latest tone and techniques. Very enjoyable listen.

Re: Which Chorus?
Commission C-dog to build you one of his CE-2 clones (with multiple extras) which is so musical and flexible it has to be heard to be believed. The ONLY chorus pedal to last on my pedalboard long enough to actually be velcro-ed on.
