Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
Does it count as in the mail if I picked it up myself on a 7 hour round trip to Tauranga and back? Got a 1988 Marshall 1960a with the white label T75s (my favourite speaker). It's beat to hell so you know it's good, and the car smells like a damp garage now, so you know it's doubly good. 80% of the...

I have a nice shiny Eventide Timerfactor on the way. Been a while since I used a fancy rolls Royce delay, I'm looking forward to it

Re: Show us your pedalboard
interestingly, my Strymon Deco is a fabulous overdrive for low gain/slighty dirty boost kind of stuff. So digital drives can be great in the right context. Some good drives on the Line6 M5 too.

Dual lock both sides is the way to go. Use a small square in each corner and lever the pedal up with a screwdriver if needed. Also - the Dual Lock leaves a 5mm gap under pedals, you can easily run power and thin patch cables under pedals to keep things tidy

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Built this monstrosity today. For a new band I’m starting up. Many sounds are needed, hence the pile of pedals and MIDI controller talking to an Eleven Rack. Signal chain: Boss Tuner Boss Compressor (used as boost, will be replaced in time) Ernie Ball Wah Whammy 4 Eleven Rack direct to PA Second out...

Re: Definitely a guitar thread not keyboard related
Nord is the word. Indeed! As a gigging keyboard, Nord can't be beat, I'm told. But even then, who wants a version 1 now? Or even a 2? I was playing an Electro 2 18 months ago. GREAT organ, CP-70, rhodes, not very good on the acoustic piano, but even that was useable. Really nice keyboard action. Un...

Re: Best speaker for high gain peavey
I'd think that a V30 would be good in that. Nice and tight bottom end and clear treble is nice for really clean and distorted tones. If you do a lot of light overdrive stuff then maybe something less agressive?

Re: Wah Wah Wahhhhhhhhhh
I have done one before - new inductor and some cap changes. To be honest though, the biggest improvement was simply opening it up and rolling the pot back so that top end of the sweep was less piercing.

You've done a nice job of that, well done.
