Re: Starting from Scratch – A New Guitar Rig Needed

should I buy: amp+pedals amp that does the lot amp+multieffects I'd buy X guitar Having the appropriate guitar to get a particular sound applies regardless of whether I go with amp+pedals amp that does the lot amp+multieffects hence I deliberately left the guitar out of this topic so as to not get ...

I still miss my tokai distortion.. I fondly remember it as being the best od/crunch/distortion pedal I've ever used... I was probably wrong.

Re: show us your home made pedals

With the parts count and complexity of a 4 stage Ross phaser, you still used relatively bulky through-hole resistors, caps and IC's to fit it in there. What circuit would have a high enough parts count to make through-hole parts nonviable, needing you to work in all SMD to fit it within a 1590A cha...

Re: show us your home made pedals

You're fucking mental. thanks.. it's the ross phaser.. it's just so dreamy sounding.... so much nicer than anything else I've made (which in fairness is really only a tri-vibe, phase45, phozor and I think a phase90).. to my ears it sounds just like the maestro, which makes sense since they're both ...

It's always interesting with DIY stuff. In order to learn, you do need to copy. I'm really interested in how he's done his switching because it's clever. I don't sell pedals either so it's for my own enjoyment/benefit.
how do you expect paulc to feed his family now?
