Re: Boss RC-600 Loopnatics Assemble!

RC-600 is absolutely fantastic. I'm so excited about it for many reasons - one of which is that it has AMP MODELLING in the effects section!! I'm not a looper kind of player at all, but the interface is very intuitive, probably because the much bigger screen than the outgoing RC-300 allows for much ...

Re: Custom made Pickguards?

If you want to get really fancy and bespoke, I just used this guy to make a custom pickguard for my N6. https://www.instagram.com/indra_guitars/?hl=en He mostly works with metal and does artsy engraving. Was decent to deal with. I haven't received the actual guard yet though so I can't speak to the ...

Sorry, missed this one Conway. We're expecting a small first shipment in October, I'll need to check whether any are heading to NZ but I'd expect so!

Re: New BOSS Products coming....

Does it do anything the SY-300 doesn't? Yes, it has the power not to confuse the sh1t out of guitar players  But seriously though. The core synth engine is similar, but SY-300 is more of a fully-fledge synthesizer, you can go in and mess with oscillators and filters and LFOs and all sorts. Rea...

How do you use your Enzo? (Assume you have one or have had one)

Guitar synth stuff isn't really in my wheelhouse or comfort zone so I'm always interested to learn more about how people use it.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking, this thing will be SOLID. Like lead haha

Re: Fractal FM9!!

Haha I'm glad I got rid of my AX8 while its resale value was still riding high from people who wanted all the extra footswitches that FM3 didn't have  well I mean I didn't actually sell it, but I managed to swap it for a II XL+ which I think was a great accomplishment

Re: New Gear Day(s) feat. Marshall, Maton, Seymour Duncan, Strymon

The use of big bottles (EL34's here, right?) in a lower output amp is a great concept for getting a bigger sound. Divided by 13 do that with the BTR 23. KT 88 but only 23 watts. Still a massive sounding amp and hugely loud. Marshall seem to understand this notion also and I’m really keen to have a ...

Re: New Gear Day(s) feat. Marshall, Maton, Seymour Duncan, Strymon

SV20 is my favourite modern Marshall! It's a Plexi alright, through and through. Ended up moving mine on because at the end of the day even the low watt mode was too loud for me without a load box, but damn it sounded great cranked through my Tube Amp Expander.

Re: New G'n'R

Lol but jokes aside, I've heard that this is a reworked offcut from Chinese Democracy, which makes sense when you listen to it. Also, Axl's voice (which was in fine form a few years ago I thought) seems to have gone a bit off, he's lost the grit somehow. I've never liked when GNR in any form leaned ...
