Re: What are you loving right now?
Recently I've found myself playing this album a lot, two or three times a week. http://www.propermusic.com/cache/images/8/f/6/8f699678f8f90f07c95908af11995dc5.jpg Eric Bibb - Blues, Ballads and Work Songs I absolutely love this, it's kind of what I hoped Keb Mo was going to be all about when I got ...

Re: Female singer needs guitarist - Auckland
I had a listen to your work, Isla. Very nice indeed. Good luck with the project, I'm sure there's a few great guitarists here who can help, if they can get off their fat arses... :D Mind you, being a keyboard player, I think a nice piano/organ in the mix would do wonders, also. How did I miss that....

Re: Eric Gales
He's one badass guitar player! I recall seeing him in guitar magazines about twenty years ago. Love that rhythm section he's playing with.

Re: John Porters Guitar Collection
The Lacey guitar stood out for me. A beautiful guitar, with a pickup hovering over its body!

Re: Les Pauls for Dummies: what's the go?
After re-reading the thread title I realise the riddle is in two parts. Les Pauls for Dummies: A strong statement, perhaps even condecending towards guitarists who play Les Pauls exclusively! I would say you could make dummer choices than playing a Les Paul. what's the go? Usually green.

Having copped some of his (Ten Years After) licks in the past, I'll be playing some blues in his memory tonight. RIP Mr. Lee.
