Re: My handbuilt monster
Fuck that. I'm not pissing around for 30 minutes setting up a mic and camera so goobers online can give me shit. I got better things to waste my time on. Re: Guitar prices: what's the sweet spot?
As someone who works in a marketing-related field...answering that question is a bit like trying to get flour back out of your gravy. 'Value' is both cumulative and fluid; there's no way to separate it back into its constituent parts. There's no point at which quality and marketing are separate, IM...

Re: Strat bridge humbucker aesthetics

I have gone for Black Strat, vintage aesthetic / modern spec rosewood neck, mintgreen pickguard and nickel covered humbucker, all with a bit of natural wear. Sounds very tasty! I have a new prototype harness to use too, so I am loo...

Exactly that sorta thing. That's exactly how a Telecaster is wired, except you have three pickups and a 5 way switch.

Re: Converting Tokai strat to master vol/tone?
For a master tone you can attach the wire from the tone control, directly to the first lug of the volume control, or the second lug if you like a 50s Les Paul style tone control.

Re: Show us your whole setup....
Repaired it myself last night. Loose internal cable between the crossover and bass driver. Back up and running! You can still pop down to the local high end hi fi shop if you like. Take one of your old 8-tracks or CD’s to test - maybe some Knuckleback, or George Michael… Theres nothing quite like C...

It has a G10 creamback.
I never compared it to the standard speaker, but I'm happy with it.

Re: Show us your whole setup....

I got the cream back version and its far king glorious, especially for the money. Now I just need a Hot cake. They’re an amazing amp, mine so...
