I can't recall the compression thing, but I do seem to recall it's a tad brighter than cable. It's been many years since I compared them. Did you manage to try it out at a gig or practice? Looks awesome so far! I used vinyl to wrap my 18W. Followed the instructions from an Uncle Doug youtube video, fender style. I used a cheap wallpaper seam roller from mitre10, and the long tack Ados glue on the timber, spray Ados on the vinyl. Worked a treat. Just make sure to paint black under wher...
