The Jukes, Darcy Perry & Dave Ball

Post by bluesbass »

A show that will leave all blues fans breathless.
This one off show will capture all that the blues has to offer.
Dave Ball (former guitarist of Procol Harum) joins Darcy Perry on stage.

Dave is a guitar player who is currently resident of New Zealand but working in various parts of the World.
In 1972 he joined Procol Harum, replacing Robin Trower who had left he group to form his own band, after he saw an advert in Melody Maker.
He can be heard on the group's live (and best selling) album, Procol Harum Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, but left the group during the recording sessions for their 1973 album Grand Hotel to play with Long John Baldry.

On support are THE JUKES a 5 piece that offer a electrifying performance, and who play the Crest Hotel on Sunday 23rd.

Tickets are available from TICKETEK 307 5000 / 0800 TICKETEK as from Friday 14th March, very limited tickets, don’t be the one that misses out on this one off NZ performance of these great blues men and 3 hours of blistering blues.

Doors open at 7pm, THE JUKES hit the stage at 8pm.
Darcy Perry and Dave Ball from 9pm.

Held at CLUB GROOVE, the newest live music venue in Newmarket, part of Broadway Pub & Café 4 Osbourne St.
