Re: Black Sabbath Roll Call
I've already seen the original line-up, including Bill Ward, so I can afford to be a bit more political in my decision... but on balance, it's Black Sabbath, with Tony Iommi and Ozzy, on a Saturday. So yeah I'll be in.
Random waffle: I've actually seen Black Sabbath a few times and the best concert was at the Hammersmith Odeon with Tony Martin singing, that guy has an incredible voice live.

The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Great news. I'll be going, although it will probably be by myself, and with disappointment that Bill Ward won't be there.
What is the basic gist of him not being there anyway? Is he not being paid as much as the other three? WTF is going on there.
Black Sabbath were so underrated. They are still relevant, and there music is timeless.

Does Ozzy still sing? I thought he'd turned into a TV tragi-comedy actor.

Got my tix on Monday too. Talked to a friend who saw them at Download and said they were amazing (despite him not having high expectations).

That kinda doesn't make sense..... if he had high expectations and still said they were amazing I'd be impressed.Scooter13 wrote:said they were amazing (despite him not having high expectations).
If he didn't have high expectations and said it was great.... it could still be shit. Better than bad, doesn't make it great.

He thought they would be shit, but they were really good. Bogan-speak works betterer.
