Holy shit that was awesome. Came in late (about 8pm) and Queens seemed to just be cranking up, stood around at the back for them, and then at the break missioned up to the barricade for NIN. So so good!

How long were the sets? What time did they finish up?

Yeah that was a good show alright.
Pretty freakin loud though. My ears were still ringing 24hrs later.
I went for QOTSA but i think I enjoyed NIN more; better live show.
QOTSA are pretty tight live. Not much interaction with the crowd though, not that I could make out what he was saying anyway.

About 1 hour 20mins each??jeremyb wrote:How long were the sets? What time did they finish up?
NIN won the coin toss, so played last.
Brody Dalle was finishing up at 7.30 when we arrived, she only plays 30 mins. Sounded average judging by the last song.
QOTSA came on at 7.50pm (pretty punctual too) and finished sometime around 9.15 ish???
Half hour break, and NIN started prob 9.45 and played till 11.10 ish.
All up a lot for your money.
Nothing to see here.

I think I actually missed the Queens opener in the end, got there at 8 so only missed No One Knows by the look of things. Yep, good long gig that felt way too short - the mark of a good time.babytaylor wrote:About 1 hour 20mins each??jeremyb wrote:How long were the sets? What time did they finish up?

Many, many hours spent taking a bunch of generators out into the middle of the desert and playing until the drugs ran out has made them a ridiculously tight live act.babytaylor wrote:QOTSA are pretty tight live. .
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

They opened with "You think I ain't worth a Dollar, but I feel like a Millionaire' into 'No one knows'. The rest was killer. What a gig!hamo wrote: I think I actually missed the Queens opener in the end, got there at 8 so only missed No One Knows by the look of things.
