Parrot and Jigger, Sat. Aug 23rd 5:30pm

Post by Vince »

I'm opening for a bunch of people and bands THIS SATURDAY, 23/08 at the Parrot and Jigger (station village) Lower Hutt.

I'm supposed to be on at 5:30pm, a time at which I strongly suspect, I will be playing to the barmaid and two guys playing pool.

On the positive side, being on early means I'm probably not clashing with whatever other gigs you were playing or going to see already.

Anyway, it'd be really great to see some forum bods.

Here's a demo of the sort of thing I do.

Recorded a couple (well, three) tunes at the open mike tonight. Distorted as fuck. But I've been thinking I wouldn't mind a real lawnmower fuzz box anyway. And it captures the energy of playing live so, for your edification and delight...

I think it's called "The Station Village" as well, but yeah... Parrot and Jigger is a much better name.

And they easily could go into trendy little Bays cafe mode by swapping "Jigger" to "Jogger". ;)
