TV news said something about flying replacement specialist gear from LA. I wondered what it could be. I'd be happy to see FF with whatever rudimentary sound and lighting gear they could muster. It'd still be a great gig.

For a dude who harps on about organic rock and roll to then depend on a bunch of bespoke PA/backline gear rather than 'rent and rawk on outside of comfort zone' i find it a little sus.
On the other hand it was a charity gig so guessing additional overheads come in to play, etc etc etc.
What would early 90's punk-mentality-motivational-poster dave grohl do in this situation?

Have barely stopped thinking about last Wednesday's gig. Don't want to spoil it for you or I'd harp-on about the details.
I've been almost depressed about it actually. DG is totally living the f'kin' dream. F'k it. Good on 'im. He's a talented bloke.
