Yeah, I might go anyway.... LOL.
Are you talking about the album Piece of Mind or just that song? The solos are brilliant on that track, and PoM is a stunning album IMO (my second favorite behind Powerslave).

I haven't delved into their new album much, so I'm hoping they do some of the old classics. Can't wait to hear and see Murray live.
Just those tracks. Doesn't matter. Not everybody's going to like them.

My wife was nagging me to take her on sunday ( especially after seeing sabbath) but I had to keep reinforcing to her how shit the setlist is for a very non fanboi. I'm lucky in that I saw them last time they were here but she hasn't seen them since fear of the dark...I won in the end

Awesome show! The Ravens Age were good too... worth a further listen. Got the rugby tour shirt and a flag also.

I thought the crowd tonight was a bit dull. I was at the back, so I could see all the goings on. The usual reserved NZ audience I suppose. Some of the new songs drag on a bit, but the old classics will never tire. Bruce had some nice things to say about NZ, donning an All Blacks jersey was always going to be a crowd pleaser - bit've a libtard, but his vocals were probably my highlight.

The guitarists were alright. Had to laugh when Janick gave Murray the wanker hand motion after his Fear of the Dark solo... but they were all pretty tight. I've never seen someone enjoy playing guitar as much as Janick.

Good experience overall.

It looked full to me. If there were spare seats you could've counted them on one hand.

Thought Sabbath were a bit better also :shh:

Man, Janick was killing it. He was going pretty mental from the start and I was kinda thinking " is he a bit pissed?" But he was hitting everything.

The stage show was super impressive too. Normally bands kinda give up on all that once they make it down here, but they had me from the start. The new songs were a bit hit and miss and I thought it was all over a bit too quick - wouldve liked to have heard a couple more crowd favourites. But pretty damn happy I got to see them.
Loving it so far

I've been searching for pictures of this since Friday, any chance of a link as I haven't found one yet.

Adrian has always been my fave Maiden guitarist right back to when I got really into them in the beginning (might have been cooler to not like Dave as much, but I love his style and philosophy to doing it properly these days now I'm aspiring to be a guitarist). He also seems to be getting a following amongst younger guitarists as well so signatures would be cool. I'd have to try and get a Destroyer for my son though as it's a bit hard to justify for a bedroom strummer like me ;)

cool!

the only pics I found were from the last tour where he was using an Ibanez.

Looks very nice, although the cutout at the back where the strap is mounted looks to be cut the other way around and a bit odd looking.

So Maiden have released a live video for Death Or Glory from the tour, and my mate Yeti is front and centre at about 30 seconds. So missing the tour was bad enough, but this is rubbing sand in my vagina.

Good stuff, I figured you might be, since you're the only other person I know that was on the barrier.
