Hilarious - when I was 16 I would have paid $890 - but there was no way in hell that I could. Now that I can pay $890, I am so uninterested that there is no way in hell I would!

It might be the VIP packages that costs $890. Not sure what the general pricing will be

I'm in. God help me, the Rock was playing Estranged this morning and I actually started getting excited.

Re: G'N'F'N'R'S NZ Tour
Can't afford the ticket AND travel costs unfortunately so I'm out I guess.
I'm not really winging as this is my choice, but I do wish Christchurch would get it's shit together and rebuild us a proper decent sized stadium so we can get some more of these big shows coming down here. It's too easy right now to simply stay on the North Island and expect us muppets to fly up. Stuff like GnR is pretty much guarenteed to do as well as anything else that's put on, bit like AC/DC and Foo Fighters and Metallica would/do

Yeah i hear ya, i'm surprised Wellington actually got a shot this time round.
In saying that, i'll miss both because i'm overseas and travelling to Melbourne is just a bit too steep.

Re: G'N'F'N'R'S NZ Tour
I did wonder whether I'd have any appetite for this gig. I mean, I'm under no illusion that this is the same band it once was, they've been estranged for so long; but I'm sure that if we have a little patience with them, it could still be a fun show.

I'm sure that same page had cheaper tickets last night. Are they actually on sale?sirvill wrote:Fuck that's expensive: http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/events/GU ... 34/tickets

Yup, they started at $89 on Monday, looks like they've rolled in that ticketek fee into the price?hamo wrote:I'm sure that same page had cheaper tickets last night. Are they actually on sale?sirvill wrote:Fuck that's expensive: http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/events/GU ... 34/tickets

To be honest GnR have always been expensive, I remember paying well over the "normal" price both times I saw them at Wembley Stadium back on the Illusion tours

Yer killed the buzz for me.. and it might just be me, but the person who came up with the colour/price/layout map on that site needs a kick in the sack for making it too complex and confusing..
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..
