Ah good, I feel a bit silly about how whenever a big band doesn't do a Christchurch show I think they're rude but when they do announce the show I generally don't go anyway. This way I don't need to feel bad about not going.

Cool. Will remember to bring a book in case Axl walks off stage mid concert and doesn't come back for an hour. Like in '92.
If it matches a Slash concert, it'll be awesome.

Yeah i've never seen them live so worth a shot, and GNR was what got me seriously into playing guitars. however murphy's law, i'm working in Raro that week.
Grrrr, might go to Melbourne to watch them.. Hmmmm

Re: G'N'F'N'R'S NZ Tour
Haha - I know some local Wellington guys in a tribute band called GNFNRs. Know them really well actually. My first thought was - why is Gringo posting about them? Second thought was, why didn't they ask us to tour with them?
But yeah, I'll not be going to this. Like Slash, can't handle Axl. Why is this the one to come to Wellington?

Is there a link to the announcement? I've only seen rumours online currently.
Not an Axl fan, but Slash and the tunes are still worth a watch..

Pretty darn tempted, the Rolling Stones were absolutely killer when I saw them, hope this can live up to that!
